Asphalt Paving Notice

Starting tomorrow, 10-7-26, we will begin asphalt repairs on Monroe Rd. from Elk Lane to Rock Bluff Rd. Work will begin around 7am. There will also be some repairs on Dunbar Dr.; Oakdale Rd; and Beaver Lake Blvd near Ralston Rd. On Wednesday the 7th, the paving crew will be milling out damaged asphalt and replacing it with new. This process will take two to three days. During this time, you will see traffic signs that reduce areas to one lane only. Please be mindful of these signs to protect yourself and the workers. There will be equipment operating in this area as well so please pay attention to anyone directing traffic. After the repairs are done, there will be a tack (oil emulsion) applied to the original asphalt prior to laying an additional 2” asphalt surface so please try not to drive through it as it will get on your vehicle. Neither the contractor nor Beaver Lake will be responsible for any oil that gets on your vehicle. Unless you live in the immediate area, it would be better to use an alternate route and avoid the area during the asphalt improvements.

Please view the map showing the areas of work to be done. We appreciate your cooperation during this time while we improve the streets of Beaver Lake.
