Cathy Brink

My name is Cathy Brink and I’m a candidate for the Beaver Lake Association board of directors for the 2026 election. I am currently serving on the board of directors.   I was appointed to fill the term of a vacant seat in September of 2024.

I have been working on a couple of important projects while on the board and look forward to continuing my work on those projects going forward. I am the board representative responsible for coordinating with the Lincoln 2.0 water project. I am working on organizing a public information meeting with the project developers for everyone in the Beaver Lake community and nearby areas affected by the project.   I think our involvement and presence with the project is our best way to protect our lake from any adverse effect this project may have on us. I am also working on an initiative with local law enforcement to form an alliance with them and to get their expertise and input in ways to improve our security processes and to make sure we operate within reasonable boundaries.  These two projects are both important to me and going forward, I want to continue my work on them in the coming three years.

My background prior to retirement was in the IT field, working as an IT manager and technical consultant. My past experience includes working for companies in telecommunications, food processing, insurance, and publishing. In 2001, my husband and I purchased the Beaver Lake Marina, and ran it until 2023.

I have lived at Beaver Lake full time since 1989. We raised our three daughters here and now we love to share our lake home with our children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren and their growing families. My goal is to live here and enjoy the lake for as long as the Lord allows me to. Keeping Beaver Lake a beautiful and enjoyable community is important to me. I would appreciate your vote for me to continue serving our community on the Board of Directors.

Adam Tabor

Beaver Lake Community,

My name is Adam Tabor, and I’m seeking the opportunity to represent the community by serving on the Beaver Lake Association Board. My wife Cara and I began boating here in 2017 and moved here full-time in 2021. We value the strong sense of community and the pride people take in the lake.

I believe the lake itself has to remain our top priority. It is the reason people choose Beaver Lake, and its health ultimately protects our property values.

As a community, we need to be disciplined in how we invest. My approach is to meet core needs first by maintaining the lake and essential infrastructure, then evaluate additional improvements as resources allow.

I also believe in preserving the lake as a shared space for everyone, whether fishing, enjoying watersports, or simply spending time on the water. Supporting a sustainable water supply is an important part of that long-term stewardship.

I bring an engineering background and experience managing projects and budgets. I am committed to listening, weighing facts and perspectives, and making thoughtful decisions that represent the community as a whole.

Call or text 402-235-8248 or email AdamTBLBoard@gmail.com. I would appreciate your consideration and the opportunity to represent the community.

Sincerely,

Adam Tabor (Lot 966)
