The Beaver Lake Election and Annual Meeting are Sunday May 17, 2026
The Annual Meeting of the Regular Members of the Beaver Lake Association will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Clubhouse for the following purpose:
- To elect three (3) Directors to serve a three (3) year term
You may vote either by proxy ballot via email during the weekend of the Annual Meeting until 3:00 p.m. on the day of the election, or in person at the clubhouse between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the day of the election.
You may vote for up to three candidates total, among those listed and/or any declared write-in candidates per Section 7 of the handbook. Voting for more than three will invalidate your ballot.
To Vote By Electronic Proxy Ballot
Important
- Signing up for our email newsletter does NOT register you to e-vote.
- Previous registration to e-vote does NOT register you to e-vote in subsequent elections.
- Annual registration keeps our voter lists up to date.
To vote by proxy via email, you must register on our website no later than 4:00 p.m. on the last Friday in April.
If you register to e-vote by proxy, you will be ineligible to vote in person.
On Friday evening, May 15, you will receive an email with a link to your electronic ballot. You will have until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17 to vote. To vote, click the link to open your ballot, select your choices, confirm, and submit.
To Vote In Person
- The clubhouse will be open for voting between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the day of the Annual Meeting.
- STARTING 2026: All members voting in person must present a government issued identification card showing the voter’s name and photo prior to receiving a ballot. Examples of acceptable identification include but are not limited to; state driver’s license, state identification card, US Passport and US Department of Defense card.
Membership in Good Standing
Only votes by members in good standing will be allowed. If in doubt, call the Beaver Lake office to confirm you are in good standing: 402-235-2241.
A Regular Membership in good standing shall be one for which all membership fees, special assessments, and any other charges applied to the member have been paid through and including the previous quarter as indicated by Association records.
Reasons to deem a ballot invalid:
- Voting for more than three candidates.
- Voting for a candidate more than once on the same ballot.
